The Joint Declaration of the VI International Technical Meeting of Santiago, held on September 23 and 24, arrived at the conclusion of the importance of focusing the response from a human rights and gender perspective. Likewise, a search began for different instances that should be created in conjunction with the countries of the region, specialized agencies, and other regional processes.
It was also deemed necessary to manage border areas, to prepare updated, timely and adequate information, and to generate information on the pattens and impact that COVID-19 has had on labor markets, in the short, medium and long term.
