Academic Network

Academia joined the Quito Process during the IX Round, under the Pro Tempore Presidency of Chile, promoting the participation of universities and research centres in the governance of human mobility.

This initiative led to the creation of the Academic Network of the Quito Process (RAP) in the X Round, under the Pro Tempore Presidency of Costa Rica, as a space for coordination among academic and research institutions. Subsequently, the XI Round, led by Ecuador, strengthened its consolidation.
