Continuity and
Effectiveness
To ensure the continuity and effectiveness of the Quito Process, the Technical Secretariat was established, composed of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Institutional support to the Quito Process
Provides technical, operational, communications, and administrative support to the Pro Tempore Presidency (PPT) in the implementation of its conceptual note or work plan. It coordinates interaction with all actors linked to the Quito Process: the PPT, the Group of Friends, civil society (RESC), academia (RAP), and the private sector.
